Trail guide

See the Mount Baldy Loop route in 3D.

The Mount Baldy Loop is the big lodge-to-summit day: ten and a half kilometres with just under 600 metres of climbing, up from the lodge to the top of Mount Baldy, along the panoramic summit ridge, and back down toward the Lizard Range. The views from the ridge take in the whole Island Lake area. Short on time or legs, the out-and-back to the summit is six and a half kilometres return and still earns the panorama. Start below Bear Lodge and follow the signs.
