    Follow the road through the old-growth forest and make an evening of it. Inside Tamarack, warm timber, carefully set tables, and mountain views frame a dining experience with its roots right here in the Kootenays.

    Head Chef Lara Korpan and her team build seasonal menus around local growers, regional producers, and responsibly sourced ingredients. The pleasure is in the details: an unexpected flavour, a beautifully finished plate, a wine that brings it all together.

    Fine dining feels at home here. So will you. Dress is resort casual; outdoor dining with views of the Lizard Range is available by request, when conditions allow.

    Flavours from the valley

    A season worth savouring.

    The summer 2026 menu ranges from stinging-nettle stracchino to Brant Lake bavette with smoked bone-marrow chimichurri. A Cornish-hen take on chicken and waffles brings huckleberry and sea buckthorn to the table. These are dishes shaped by the landscape, with room for a little surprise.

    Tamarack is a seasonal dining room, with limited public access. In winter, it is reserved exclusively for our private ski guests. For much of the rest of the year, private events and lodge buyouts also close the dining room to the public.
