Winter at Island Lake
Guided cat skiing, lodge stays, and occasional single-day seats.
A great way to try cat skiing and experience some deep powder is a day-trip up to Island Lake Lodge. The day starts with us picking you up in our parking lot, located 15 minutes from Fernie. We then do some safety training before heading up to ski and snowboard some fresh powder. Food and drinks are available in the cat throughout the day. Day-cat skiing usually happens in the early and late season when conditions allow us to have an extra snowcat.
